Story of Herb Baumeister, who committed at least seven murders, buried the bodies 15 feet from his back door and kept his secret from wife and friends. There is speculation that he killed the young men in games of sexual strangulation. 8 p.m. on Biography.

KITTEN WITH A WHIP: This campy biopic looks at the life and career of infamous pin-up girl, Bettie Page, played by Gretchen Mol. Bettie starred in some lesbian bondage movies. Sarah Paulson and Lili Taylor co-star. “The Notorious Bettie Page” airs 12:30 a.m. Saturday on HBO.

Anger Management
Adam Sandler plays a mild-mannered businessman who is court- ordered to have counseling after a mis- understanding. Jack Nicolson plays his unorthodox therapist. When Stand Up Stood Out

The original, directed by John Waters, starring Divine and Ricki Lake as the ambitious teen who wants to end racial tensions by appearing on a teen dance show. Girls in Prison

Stagedoor
This documentary looks at the performing-arts camp Stagedoor Manor, located in the Catskill Mountains, and follows five teens for the three weeks of attendance. A staffer underestimates that 70 percent of Stagedoor’s boys are gay. 10:30 a.m. on Sundance.

In Pot We Trust
The complex issue of the medical use of marijuana is examined from every side in this documentary that charts the suffering of four chronically ill patients, whose reliance on the illegal drug as a painkiller is in jeopardy due to federal anti-narcotics legislation. Reform organizations, prohibitionist groups, politicians, drug-war critics, scientists and celebrities all get their say in this fascinating analysis. 11:15 a.m. on Showtime.

Freddie Mercury: Magic Remixed
Take a close and intimate look at the life and career of Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen and one of the most famous and distinctive voices in rock music. Small Town Gay Bar
A close look at two gay bars in rural Mississippi and their struggle to survive in unfriendly and often hostile territory. Through interviews with their patrons and an exploratory look at local hate crimes and the history of other nearby gay bars, the documentary reaffirms that there is still much progress to be made in the fight for acceptance. The gratefulness and sense of family the bar patrons maintain reveal how the Southern GLBT community can still thrive despite social prejudices. 9 p.m. on Logo.
