Paul (François Delaive), a gay photographer who has been creating a portfolio of men during orgasm, learns that his father is near death. Top Chef
Meticulous real-estate investor Jeff Lewis has just purchased a neglected property and deals with a disgruntled employee. His business partner, Ryan, is his former boyfriend. 2 a.m. on Bravo.

Friends and Lovers
A really bad movie about a bunch of 20-somethings who go away for a ski weekend. Starring Stephen Baldwin, Danny Nucci, Claudia Schiffer, Alison Eastwood, Leon and Robert Downey Jr. Nucci gets to play the gay character. 2:25 a.m. on HBO 2.

When Will I Be Loved
Neve Campbell stars as Vera, femme fatale for the 21st century, a beautiful, capricious young woman exploring the limits of her sexual and intellectual power. She picks up men on the street, videotapes her romps with a female lover and has sexually frank discussions with her potential employer. 3 a.m. on Showtime Too.

Psycho Beach Party
Adaptation of Charles Busch’s play, a spoof on 1950s teen surf movies. It centers on a tomboy (Lauren Ambrose, “Six Feet Under”) who wants to surf. And there is a serial killer on the loose. Busch plays Captain Monica Stark. 3 a.m. on Logo.

The Beautician and the Beast
Pretty much “The Nanny” goes to Europe. This time Fran Dresher plays a beautician who tutors the children of a tyrant of a fictitious Eastern European country. There are a couple of gay characters in her beauty school. 4 a.m. on USA.

The Ballad of Little Jo
Suzy Amis stars as a single mother who poses as a man to survive on her own in the Old West. With Ian McKellan. 4:10 a.m. on HBO 2.

Love Lessons
In this touching and insightful documentary, three gay men and women seek advice and potential partners with the help of professional matchmakers. Perry is a 34-year-old, HIV-positive gay man who only feels comfortable dating other HIV-positive men but hasn’t had a serious date in two years. Rachel is 36 and tends to fall for the wrong women. Mark is a 37-year-old ex-flight attendant who feels stuck at this point in his life. These single men and women will learn the dos and don’ts of dating and will put their new knowledge and insight to the test. 8 a.m. on Logo.

Fried Green Tomatoes
Adapted from the Fannie Flagg novel; tells the tale of Idgie (Mary Stuart Masterson) and Ruth (Mary-Louise Parker) in a story told to Evelyn (Kathy Bates) by Ninny (Jessica Tandy). 9:10 a.m. on Encore Drama.

Orange County

V for Vendetta
Set in 2020 England, now run by a totalitarian government, Natalie Portman stars as Evie, a TV station employee who is saved by a masked vigilante known as V (Hugo Weaving); she becomes his ally in his plan to revolt against their oppressive government. While Evie is in prison, she receives notes from a lesbian prisoner relaying her life story. Stephen Fry plays a closeted TV show host. 9:45 a.m. on CineMax.

The Haunting
A group of people spend a night in a haunted house. Starring Liam Neeson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Lili Taylor, Owen Wilson and Bruce Dern. Zeta-Jones’ character is bisexual. 11:45 a.m. on HBO 2.

Secret Ceremony
In an old family mansion, two emotionally needy women — a troubled young heiress (Mia Farrow) and an aging prostitute (Elizabeth Taylor) — enact a perverse faux mother-daughter relationship. Complications multiply when the heiress’ stepfather (Robert Mitchum) reappears with apparent incestuous intentions. Hailed by some as neglected work by master filmmaker Joseph Losey; for others it’s a forgotten camp classic. Look for lesbian overtones between Elizabeth’s and Mia’s characters. 12 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. on Sundance.

Get Bruce!
Out writer and comedian Bruce Vilanch is profiled in this humorous documentary. Included are interviews with Billy Crystal, Bette Midler, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane, Lily Tomlin and Rosie O’Donnell. 2:15 p.m. on Starz Edge.

Bad Girls

The Believers
What happens when a group of trans-people want to reclaim their spirituality and start an all-trans gospel choir? This documentary tells the story of Transcendence Gospel Choir, the first-ever entirely transgender choir, which consists of individuals who are attempting to overcome feeling “Bible burnt” by the Christian Right while at the same time trying to form a musically cohesive choir. 9 p.m. on Logo.

American Justice: The San Francisco Dog Mauling
A look at the case of lesbian Diane Whipple, who was killed by her neighbor’s two dogs in her apartment building. 10 p.m. on Arts & Entertainment.

Sex and Lucia
Lucia (Paz Vega), an impulsive waitress, goes on a trip to a remote island after she learns of the death of her lover Lorenzo (Tristan Ulloa), a novelist.
