Anti-gay church wants Microsoft

Pinknews.co.uk reports that an anti-gay pastor recently vowed to take over Microsoft.

The Rev. Ken Hutcherson, head of the Redmond, Wash.-based Antioch Bible Church, said he intends to pack the company with shareholders who will vote against the company’s policy of advocating gay rights.

“I told them that you need to work with me or we will put a firestorm on you like you have never seen in your life,” he said. “I am a black man with a righteous cause with a whole host of powerful white people behind me.”

Hutcherson, when asked why he as a black man who grew up during segregation could advocate discrimination, said, “How many homosexuals have you ever seen had to ride on the back of a bus? I haven’t seen one. I’ve never seen an ex-black. But I’ve seen ex-gays.”

Councilman Gary Cloutier, who is openly gay, was seen leaving a gay bar visibly intoxicated and attempting to drive.

Palm Springs police discovered Cloutier in the driver’s seat of a Cadillac.

Sgt. Mitch Spike, in a written statement, indicated Cloutier was “very intoxicated,” “staggering and could barely stand.”

Cloutier was arrested and released on a promise to appear at a later date.

Vallejo held its election on Nov. 6 and at press time, officials were still counting absentee and provisional ballots.

Transgender arrested for murder

Seattlepi.com reported that police in South Dakota have arrested a man accused of killing his roommate in Oregon.

Police say 48-year-old David French was charged with murder in the bludgeoning death of 51-year-old Frank Johnson in May.

French was arrested in a grocery store parking lot in Rapid City, S.D., last week.

Police say French, who is transgender, jumped from the third-story window of the Portland apartment he shared with Johnson as officers forced open the front door on May 4. The body was found inside.
