Catch openly gay singer-songwriters Eric Himan and Tom Goss (above) when they perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 25 at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut St.

Himan, with his unique blend of blues, folk, pop, bluegrass, country and rock, is swinging through Philly on yet another stop of his busy tour to promote his fifth album, 2006’s “Everything All at Once.”

Inspired by Dave Matthews and David Gray, Goss taught himself to play guitar after high school and began writing songs that reflected his own experiences and perspective.

After college he moved to Washington, D.C., to enter the Catholic seminary but, after that didn’t go as planned, he left to pursue his true calling: making music.

Goss released his first CD, “Naked Without,” in April 2006.
