The Attic Youth Center will host “Politikin’: A Political Debate Through Poetry” at 8 p.m. Nov. 30 at the William Way Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, 1315 Spruce St.
The event will feature poets debating hot-button political issues.
“It is a way to get youth involved in talking about politics in a way that we thought would be creative,” said J. Mason, education specialist for The Attic’s Bryson Institute. The debate will cover eight topics and present both conservative and liberal viewpoints.
