Description:

Rabbi Yael Levy will lead a Tu B’Shvat Mindfulness Shabbat service on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., at Mishkan Shalom, 4101 Freeland Ave., in Roxborough.

The theme of the service is “Going from What is to What Could Be,” which comes from The Torah portion, Beshallach, that includes the crossing of the Red Sea. During the service, the "Song of Sea" will be chanted. All are invited to lunch sponsored by A Way In after the service. The mindfulness experience continues after lunch with an optional walk in Wissahickon Park. All ages are welcome to participate. Carpools will leave from the synagogue promptly at 1 p.m.
