TU B'SHVAT WALK IN WISSAHICKON PARK

Description:

Steve Jones, president of the Wissahickon Restoration Volunteers, will lead a walk in Wissahickon Park to celebrate Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish "birthday of the trees," on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The hour-long walk is part of Mishkan Shalom's two-day Tu B’Shvat celebration, which includes a Mystical Seder on Friday, Jan. 25 and a mindfulness Shabbat service, which precedes the Saturday walk. The public is welcome to attend one or all events.

Carpools to Wissahickon Park will leave from the Mishkan Shalom synagogue, 4101 Freeland Ave. in Roxborough, promptly at 1 p.m.
