Gladstone Manor has many friendly residents. There is an island near the entrance to Gladstone Manor and three times a year all the residents have a celebration. Easter, Independence Day and Christmas. Baked goods and soft drinks are served at all functions. At the Easter function there is an Easter egg hunt for the children. Independence Day there is BBQ food served and Christmas there is a 50 foot spruce tree that gets decorated and lit. Also one of the residents dresses like Santa and entertains the children. This is a time for all the residents to catch up with each other and talk. A week before Christmas a few residents that are members of the Philadelphia Philharmonic play Christmas carols under each street lamp in the Manor as residents sing along and stroll. The Manor is very quaint, quiet and safe. This house is located in a beautiful setting and the Lansdowne pool is located very close and is very exclusive. It costs approximately $400 a year for membership but is very convenient and quiet. You'll love the location and the house.
